Surveys
Pkecs has the expertise to conduct structured cabling surveys on a multitude of sites, whether new Greenfield sites or in existing buildings. We work with our clients during site surveys in order to understand specific requirements prior to producing system designs.
Network Design and Structured Cabling
Experienced in-house network and cabling designers are employed to use the latest technologies such as CAD, for network design and to provide expertise in all cabling practices and standards.
Roll-out Projects
Pkecs has the capability to provide a total turnkey installation service to implement a complete LAN / WAN environment. Project management is at the heart of this service and we are skilled in working to strict timescales and within budget. Our qualified UK engineering coverage means we can provide a flexible service and can work on various sites in parallel.
Comprehensive Support Services
Where required, we will work with a client's IT department to plan and execute moves and changes to voice and data connections around an office environment.
Network Health Checks and Audits
A network health check service is available, using the latest diagnostic equipment to ensure your network is performing as expected. Checks can be performed for network bottlenecks and errors and to validate existing cabling systems. We can also check Category 5e, 6 and 7 system conformance to ensure that they are performing to international standards and can perform tests to ensure your network will support Gigabit Ethernet applications.
Documentation
Following completion of installations, full documentation packs are prepared detailing outlet locations, cable runs, test results, warranty information, patching schedules and cabinet layouts.
Maintenance and Lifecycle Support
We provide maintenance with guaranteed response times and our wide engineering coverage enables us to react quickly to sudden network problems. Where required, Pkecs can provide continuous backup to ensure your business critical systems perform without problems. |
